1 year agoThe Milwaukee Brewers reinstated relief pitcher Matt Bush (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list on Friday and optioned right-hander Trevor Megill to Triple-A Nashville on Thursday in a corresponding move. Bush returns to Milwaukee's bullpen after spending almost two months on the shelf with right-shoulder tendinitis. The 37-year-old veteran right-hander wasn't pitching well before his injury, allowing seven runs on six hits (four homers) while walking six and striking out eight in 7 2/3 innings over nine relief appearances. However, he managed to toss five scoreless innings during his minor-league rehab assignment, so perhaps he'll fare better in the big leagues now that he's past his shoulder injury.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
