Martin Truex Jr. isn't officially locked into the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs yet, but it's going to take something wild happening at Darlington next weekend in order for the 2017 Champion to miss out on the postseason. After finishing 24th at Daytona on Saturday night, Truex now has a 58-point cushion on the cut line for the playoffs this year. The maximum that any driver can earn in a single race is 60 points (by winning both stages and the race), while a driver simply starting the race earns at least one point -- a potential difference of 59 points. Truex is likely not sweating anything heading into the regular-season finale at Darlington next weekend. It will take something catastrophic for him to not make the playoffs.--Jordan McAbee
