Martin Truex Jr. Hopeful It’s Finally His Turn At New Hampshire
1 year agoMartin Truex, Jr. has had plenty of strong runs at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, but has yet to get to victory lane in the NASCAR Cup Series at this track. Over 29 career starts here, Truex has led 916 laps--which is 2nd-most among all active drivers--but has never finished better than 3rd at "The Magic Mile." That could change this weekend, though. Truex and his teammate, Christopher Bell, were in a league of their own during practice, and Truex's #19 Toyota had the best 10-lap average in practice. He should be able to contend for the win in this year's Crayon 301, but will Truex have the speed to beat his teammate, Bell, who is the defending winner of this race? Only time will tell.
