Martin Pospisil Starts Three-Game Suspension Thursday
9 months agoCalgary Flames forward Martin Pospisil has been suspended for three games for boarding Seattle Kraken defenseman Vince Dunn in Monday's 4-2 loss. Pospisil was handed a five-minute major and ejected from the game for his hit on Dunn, who exited the contest with an undisclosed injury and wasn't in the lineup on Tuesday versus Winnipeg. The suspension will start with Thursday's matchup against Tampa Bay, and Pospisil will be eligible to return to action on March 12 versus Colorado. The 24-year-old rookie has collected 15 points (six goals, nine assists) in 45 appearances this season. Matt Coronato, who practiced on the second line Wednesday, is set to replace Pospisil in the lineup.
