Marshon Lattimore Still Not Practicing For Commanders
2 weeks agoWashington Commanders cornerback Marshon Lattimore (hamstring) is still not practicing after being acquired at the trade deadline. Lattimore was acquired by the Commanders in a move that signaled they are all in on this season but he has not played since Week 8 when he was still a member of the New Orleans Saints. Lattimore would be a huge boost to a Commanders defensive secondary that has already limited opposing passing offenses to 184.4 yards per game in 2024. Lattimore's experience would be great for the less experienced corners in Washington. Lattimore's progress throughout the week should be monitored. However, if he has trouble getting on the practice field in any capacity on Thursday, it seems unlikely that he will play in Week 12 against the Dallas Cowboys. If Lattimore misses another week, it would be great news for Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (back/foot). Lamb seems poised to succeed against the Commanders no matter what. Not having Lattimore on the field would make life that much easier for Lamb who is not competing for targets with anyone else on the Cowboys.
