6 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies pitching prospect Sixto Sanchez is viewed as a "must" to be included in any trade package involving Miami Marlins catcher J.T. Realmuto, according to a source. The Phillies re-engaged the Marlins in trade talks for Realmuto this week, but the Marlins are still asking for a ton for one of the best hitting catchers in baseball. Miami would like to deal Realmuto before spring training begins, but they are also willing to wait if the package is not to their liking. Sanchez, 20 years old, is ranked as the 27th best prospect in baseball and was routinely clocked above 94 mph at Single-A Clearwater last year. Phillies catcher Jorge Alfaro could also be part of a package for Realmuto.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
