4 years agoThe Miami Marlins signed switch pitcher Pat Venditte to a minor league contract on Thursday. Venditte had previously signed a deal with the Marlins in January, but he was released before Summer Camp. With 17 Marlins now positive for COVID-19, Venditte will likely get a chance right away, assuming the Marlins are back on the field any time soon. It's always fun and exciting to watch the unique Venditte on the mound, but his career 5.03 ERA and 53 strikeouts in 68 big league innings shows that he's not much of a fantasy option.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
