Marlins Sign Curtis Granderson
6 years agoThe Miami Marlins signed free-agent outfielder Curtis Granderson to a minor league deal on Tuesday. The deal includes an invite to spring training for the 37-year-old who saw time with the Blue Jays and Brewers last year. The left-handed hitter batted .242 with 13 home runs and 38 RBI on the season and has basically become a fourth outfielder/bench player at this stage of his career, although he could see regular starts for the rebuilding Marlins. Grandy is strictly a depth player in deep NL-only leagues nowadays.
