Marlins Acquire Dylan Floro
4 years agoThe Miami Marlins and Los Angeles Dodgers agreed to a trade on Friday, with the Marlins acquiring relief pitcher Dylan Floro in exchange for Alex Vesia and a prospect. Floro should immediately slide into a late-inning role for the Marlins and may even end up with save chances. He posted a 3.10 ERA over the past three seasons and strikes out about a batter per inning. The Dodgers got a high-upside arm in the deal, as Vesia was absolutely dominant in the minor leagues before struggling mightily in a brief big league stint last season. The other prospect in the deal is not expected to be a significant piece.
