Mark Ingram Questionable To Return With Calf Injury
5 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back Mark Ingram (calf) injured his calf in Week 16 against the Browns and is questionable to return. This could be a serious injury, and if it is, it's bad news for an explosive offense entering the postseason. The good news is that Baltimore will have a first-round bye and can rest Ingram for two weeks if need be. Ingram ran the ball eight times for 55 yards and also caught both of his targets in the passing game for 36 yards and a touchdown before his injury. Gus Edwards and Justice Hill will work together in the backfield if Ingram doesn't return or is forced to miss time moving forward. Edwards would be the preferred fantasy pickup, especially since there's a good chance that Ingram won't play at all in Week 17.
