12 months agoToronto Maple Leafs defenseman Mark Giordano (hand) left Tuesday's game early after blocking a shot and will miss some time, according to head coach Sheldon Keefe. This is just another blow for a Leafs defensive core that is already missing Timothy Liljegren and John Klingberg. Giordano isn't the same defender he once was, but he still had five points, 25 shots on goal, 24 hits, and 50 blocked shots in 20 games, providing some value in deeper leagues.
