7 years agoToronto Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said the plan is for starting pitcher Marcus Stroman (shoulder) to start the fourth game of the season. Although not yet official, it's assumed that starter J.A. Happ will receive the Opening Day nod. Stroman threw two successful innings against the Canadian team on Saturday and should be fine for the start of the regular season, barring any setbacks. While Stroman doesn't strike out a ton of hitters, he makes his living posting low ERAs due to plenty of ground balls and weak contact.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
