11 months agoMemphis Grizzlies guard Marcus Smart (foot) hasn't played since November 14 after spraining his left foot during the game against the Los Angeles Lakers. The veteran guard has been participating in some practices and scrimmaging lately. Reportedly, head coach Taylor Jenkins said that the hope is to see how he responds in the next couple of days and he could potentially return on either Thursday or Saturday. Getting Smart back around the same time that Ja Morant (suspended) returns would be a tremendous boost to a struggling Grizzlies team. Smart would likely return to the starting lineup alongside Morant and Desmond Bane while Vince Williams Jr. heads back to the bench.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller
