Marcus Mariota A Risky Start Against The Buccaneers
2 years agoAtlanta Falcons quarterback Marcus Mariota started the year strong, scoring 19.8 fantasy points in Week 1 against the New Orleans Saints. However, the veteran quarterback has averaged only 11 fantasy points per game since then, scoring under 15.6 fantasy points in every contest. Furthermore, the former Oregon Duck has six turnovers compared to only three passing touchdowns over the past three weeks. Unfortunately, Mariota won't have Kyle Pitts (hamstring) this week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Even if Pitts could play, fantasy players should avoid starting Mariota against a talented Tampa Bay defense.
