In Saturday's heavyweight bout, Marcos Rogerio de Lima earned his second win in a row with a unanimous decision against Waldo Cortes-Acosta. Brazil's de Lima was 3-1 across his last four fights, including stoppages of notable heavyweights Ben Rothwell and Andrei Arlovski. Cortes-Acosta had yet to taste defeat in the UFC, or in his career period, with a 9-0 record to start the night. In 15 minutes of action, de Lima had three takedowns and 59 significant strikes. The win moves de Lima to 10-6 in the UFC. This victory was his fourth in his last five fights as a heavyweight. Given the overall thin nature of the division, it's not inconceivable that he could make a run into UFC title contention in the near future.--Alen Kurbasic - RotoBaller
