Marco Luciano Continues Hitting Streak, Goes Deep On Thursday
4 months agoSan Francisco Giants shortstop prospect Marco Luciano went 2-for-5 with a home run on Thursday evening. This was his fourth long ball of the season at Triple-A and second of the month. His two hits also extended his current hitting streak to four games. Luciano struggled at first when he returned to Triple-A on June 11 as he posted a poor .150 AVG in his first 16 games. However, since July 2 he sits with a much-improved .267 AVG. The shortstop is considered one of the top prospects in the San Francisco system and should remain stashed in all keeper and dynasty leagues, as he should return to the major leagues fairly soon.
