Marco Estrada Won't Pitch Sunday
6 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Marco Estrada, who was scheduled to start on Saturday against Texas before it was postponed, will be skipped in the rotation. Brett Anderson will stay on turn and go Sunday against the Rangers. Estrada had an ERA over 5.00 in Toronto last year and the hope was that he'd be much better in hitter-friendly Oakland in 2019, but that hasn't been the case so far. Estrada is 0-1 with a 4.87 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and weak 4.4 K/9 in his four starts so far, so it might not be a bad thing that he's being skipped. Owners that were planning on streaming him in deeper leagues on Saturday will be disappointed, though.
