5 years agoThe St. Louis Cardinals will place outfielder Marcell Ozuna (finger) on the injured list on Saturday after he injured the middle finger on his right hand on Friday while diving back to first base head first on a pickoff attempt. Manager Mike Shildt declined to say if Ozuna had suffered a fracture. It's a big loss for the Cardinals and fantasy owners, as Ozuna was hitting .259 with 20 home runs and 62 RBI on the season. He was having an All-Star first half and needs to remain stashed in all leagues. His absence will allow Jose Martinez, Dexter Fowler and Harrison Bader to all see regular playing time now.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
