Oakland Athletics catcher Manny Pina (wrist) went 0-for-2 with a strikeout in Tuesday's 1-0 win over the Tigers. Pina was activated from the 60-day injured list with a sprained left wrist and started at designated hitter before being pinch hit for. The veteran will likely serve as a backup to Shea Langeliers. He has provided some power throughout his career with a .409 slugging percentage, but his .243 batting average and playing time questions may limit his fantasy value, even in two-catcher leagues.--Connelly Doan
