4 years agoSan Diego Padres third baseman Manny Machado (shoulder) will miss his seventh consecutive game on Thursday as the team takes on Adrian Houser and the Milwaukee Brewers. Ha-Seong Kim is getting another start at third base and batting eighth in the game. Machado has been out with May 19 with a shoulder injury. The fact that he hasn't been put on the injured list would seem to suggest that the team expects him back soon, but he apparently still needs at least another day to recover. His next chance for a return will be on Friday against Framber Valdez and the Houston Astros.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
