6 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Mallex Smith reached a seasonal milestone during the game Wednesday versus the Angels. He would steal two bases in the game to reach 20 on the season. Smith has very little power as he has only a single HR and 25 RBI on the season. Smith's value comes from the steals this season. His .292 batting average holds up fairly well against the later-round speed guys some people relied on when planning their team. He is not much of a shallow league option but plenty of leagues where he should be owned.--Jamie Mellor
