2 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Malik Cunningham has a clear path to the 53-man roster, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss. The Louisville product signed with the Pats after going undrafted during the 2023 draft. He landed himself 200K in guaranteed money, which is quite a bit for an undrafted player. Cunningham is expected to compete with Trace McSorley during camp for the No. 3 spot on the roster. The Patriots already have Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe, but usually carry three quarterbacks. Cunningham had over 3,000 rushing yards at Louisville, so he could be used in some read-option packages.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
