Malik Beasley Drops 30 Points Against Dallas
4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Malik Beasley matched his season high with 30 points in Monday's loss to Dallas, going 10-for-21 from the field and 4-for-6 at the line. He was fairly anonymous through the contest but then suddenly went off for 22 fourth-quarter points. Beasley, who shot 6-for-12 from downtown, also picked up nine rebounds, six assists, one steal, and one block. The 24-year-old benefited from the absence of D'Angelo Russell (leg), who left early in the game, but he's been a consistent scoring machine throughout the season. Beasley has scored at least 22 points in seven of his past nine appearances. However, getting there will likely be very difficult in the next game, as the Timberwolves face the defensively-tough Clippers, who limited Beasley to 31 percent shooting in this season's first matchup.
