Malcolm Brogdon Leads Pacers Past Jazz
3 years agoIndiana Pacers point guard Malcolm Brogdon scored a season-high 30 points in Thursday's 111-100 win over Utah, shooting 10-for-23 from the field and 2-for-7 from downtown with an 8-for-9 mark at the line. He grabbed nine rebounds in 37 minutes and dished out four assists with one steal and one turnover. Brogdon has now delivered back-to-back strong scoring performances with Caris LeVert (back) unavailable. The Pacers shooting guard is considered day-to-day, so he could be back at any given moment. Brogdon's usage will take a hit with LeVert back in the fold, but he'll still continue to do much of the heavy lifting on offense and actually can then focus more on playmaking. He's only had nine assists in total across the last two games.
