Malachi Flynn Continues To Impress
4 years agoToronto Raptors point guard Malachi Flynn had a third consecutive strong outing in Tuesday's loss to the Lakers, recording 11 points with eight rebounds, four assists, two steals, and one block. He replaced OG Anunoby in the starting five for the second half after the Raptors forward got tossed from the game early on. With Fred VanVleet (hip) and Kyle Lowry (foot) out, Toronto has needed somebody to step up, and Flynn has been the guy, averaging 14.3 points for the month on close to 42 shooting from deep with 6.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.7 steals, and 1.3 blocks. He'll try and impress again on Thursday versus Chicago.
