Madison Bumgarner Takes No-Decision Wednesday
3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner went five innings in Wednesday's no-decision versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. The four-time All-Star allowed seven hits, three runs (one earned), and struck out one on the evening. MadBum was in line for his fifth win of the season before the Pirates tied the game in the seventh inning. The 31-year-old is 4-6 with a 5.09 ERA, 1.20 WHIP, and 69 strikeouts through 70 2/3 innings. With a 5-10 record and 5.79 ERA in Arizona, life after San Francisco hasn't been too kind to the Giants legend. Bumgarner is on track to take the ball in another favorable matchup against the Texas Rangers next Tuesday.
