It was business as usual at first when the Jackets had 12 shots in the first period, but they came out all guns blazing after the first intermission, producing 20 shots in the second frame and 21 shots in the third. Only two goalies in franchise history have managed more saves in one game. The big performance helped Blackwood stay undefeated in February. He has a 4-0-0 record for the month with a 1.00 goals-against average, a. 976 save percentage and two shutouts.
