Lynn Bowden Jr.'s Presence Bad News For Josh Jacobs?
5 years agoThe Oakland Raiders have more mouths to feed on offense after they drafted wide receivers Henry Ruggs III and Bryan Edwards and running back Lynn Bowden Jr., which could be bad news for running back Josh Jacobs. The selection of Bowden, who has experience catching passes as a receiver in college, means that Jacobs could remain limited on passing downs heading into his second year in the NFL. Plus, the Raiders are paying Jalen Richard $7 million, so he figures to be involved as well. Jacobs was excellent in his rookie season, rushing for 1,150 yards and seven touchdowns, but his 20 receptions left a lot to be desired as an RB1. If he doesn't make strides in the passing game in his sophomore season, Jacobs could very well be overvalued in fantasy.
