2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers first baseman Luke Voit (neck) has been placed on the 10-day injured list. It's uncertain when Voit picked up the injury, but it appears he's dealing with a strained neck. That being said, the Brewers are uncertain of the severity, so they haven't given a timetable on his return. He was struggling at the plate, slashing just .221/.284/.265 with zero homers, four RBI. The Brewers have signed first baseman Darin Ruf to a one-year deal, so he'll likely see regular at-bats until Voit returns. Ruf hasn't done enough with the bat this season to warrant rostering in most formats.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
