Luke Kornet Shines As Starter
6 years agoNew York Knicks power forward Luke Kornet got a start at the center position on Thursday against Milwaukee, and he had a great game, shooting 8-for-17 from the field and 7-for-11 from downtown to tie his career high with 23 points. He led the team in scoring while dishing out five assists. Enes Kanter got ejected early in the fourth quarter, so Kornet also ended up playing big minutes with 34. It was a really good performance from the Vanderbilt product, and he'll quickly become a popular fantasy pickup if he remains with the starting unit. However, Kornet will likely find it very difficult to repeat his Thursday's efforts on Saturday when the Knicks face Rudy Gobert and the Jazz.
