Luke Kornet Scores 23 Points Off The Bench
6 years agoNew York Knicks power forward Luke Kornet was the team's most effective player in Sunday's loss to the Sixers, finishing with a plus-25 rating and scoring 23 points on 7-for-13 shooting. He was 3-for-8 from behind the arc and went 6-for-8 with his freebies. Kornet also had five rebounds, five assists and one steal in 34 minutes on the floor. The Vanderbilt product was back on the bench after a seven-game spell as a starter, but he might've done enough to make his way back into the starting five for Thursday's clash with the Wizards in London. It's a good matchup for him, as Washington have struggled against opposing bigs this season.
