8 months agoAnaheim Ducks goaltender Lukas Dostal is the starting netminder for Wednesday's game versus the visiting Ottawa Senators. The 23-year-old will make his third straight start over the struggling John Gibson as he stopped 81 of 86 shots (.942 save percentage) over his last two starts against top-10 offenses in the Devils and Canucks, winning a 4-3 decision over New Jersey before a tough-luck 2-1 loss to the NHL-leading Canucks. Despite his recent success, Dostal still owns a subpar 3.61 goals-against average and .902 Sv% across 29 outings (24 starts) on the season, albeit behind a very weak Ducks team. He is a decent streaming option on Wednesday against the last-place Senators but Ottawa still sits 13th with 3.27 goals per game on the season.--Brenton Kemp
