Luka Doncic Notches 26 Points Despite Poor Shooting
4 years agoDallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic struggled with his shot once more on Monday but still managed to maneuver his way to 26 points in a 127-122 win over Minnesota. He has now scored 25-plus points in 11 straight games, which marks the best run of his career, but some of the performances -- including Monday's -- have been very disappointing. Doncic went 1-for-7 from downtown and managed a 9-for-22 overall shooting record from the field and a 7-for-9 success rate at the line. He also had seven turnovers for a second consecutive game with only five assists. Doncic completed his line with eight rebounds and one steal. He'll look to do better on Wednesday versus the Hawks, against whom Doncic had a nice 27-8-14 line in this season's first meeting on Feb. 3.

Luka Doncic Sidelined On Friday Versus Denver
4 days agoBrett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com reports that Los Angeles Lakers point guard Luka Doncic (ankle) won't play against the Denver Nuggets on Friday. Due to left calf management and a right ankle sprain, Doncic will sit out the second half of back-to-back games. With Doncic sidelined and Gabe Vincent (knee) listed as doubtful, Jordan Goodwin and Shake Milton will likely receive extra minutes on the floor this evening. Still, neither player provides a solid fantasy option versus the Nuggets.

Luka Doncic Listed As Questionable For Thursday
6 days agoLos Angeles Lakers point guard Luka Doncic (ankle) has been listed as questionable for Thursday's marquee matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks. Last weekend, Doncic battled a back problem, and he is now on the injury report with right ankle soreness. If Doncic is out on Thursday, Austin Reaves should run the backcourt, with Gabe Vincent and Jordan Goodwin stepping into more prominent roles. Both players enjoyed strong starts to the week, as Vincent scored a team-high 24 points in Monday's loss to the Brooklyn Nets, while Goodwin produced 17 points off the bench.

Luka Doncic Considered Questionable Monday Against Nets
1 week agoLos Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic (back) is dealing with back soreness on Monday and has been listed as questionable for their matchup with the Brooklyn Nets. With LeBron James (groin) sidelined, Doncic will have to pull out all of the heroics that he displayed in Dallas. Through 11 games with the Lakers, he's averaging 24.7 points, 8.1 rebounds, 7.6 assists, 1.8 steals, and 4.1 turnovers per game. His efficiency may not be the same since changing teams, but his stats remain undeniably elite across the board. If he's unable to suit up, Austin Reaves will have to take on the scoring load while Dorian Finney-Smith and Dalton Knecht likely see huge bumps in usage.

Luka Doncic Available On Saturday
1 week agoLos Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic (knee) will play on Saturday against Boston. He has a bruised knee. However, the Lakers have won their last eight contests, so it's hard to imagine Doncic would have missed a nationally televised game versus the defending champs. The 26-year-old had 32 points, 12 assists, seven boards, and four steals in Thursday's overtime win over the New York Knicks. The C's pose more of a challenge on the defensive end, but Doncic is still a must-start while remaining a top DFS option.
