Luka Doncic Exits Thursday's Win Over Golden State
12 months agoDallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic (hamstring) exited Wednesday's win over the Golden State Warriors because of hamstring soreness. He did not return. The 25-year-old scored 21 points, shooting a shoddy 7-for-18 from the field and 1-for-6 from deep, adding nine assists and three rebounds in 30 minutes. Doncic has had an MVP-caliber year despite missing eight games for various reasons. He'll likely undergo further testing. However, Doncic likely won't be out there for the highly-anticipated matchup with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder on Thursday. If that's the case, Kyrie Irving would likely see a bump in usage and offensive opportunities. Dante Exum, who had nine points and six assists versus the Dubs, could find himself back into the starting lineup.
