2 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino (lat) will make the start on Sunday on the road against the Cincinnati Reds, according to manager Aaron Boone. It will be Severino's first game of the 2023 season after he was injured in spring training. The 29-year-old right-hander didn't throw more than 58 pitches in either of his minor-league rehab outings, so he figures to be on a rather short leash this weekend in a great matchup against Cincy. Fantasy managers should be stoked to have him back, but expectations should be kept low for his first start on Sunday. Injuries have always been an issue for Severino, but when he's healthy, he has the ability to carry a fantasy pitching staff for stretches.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
