5 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino (shoulder) and relief pitcher Dellin Betances (shoulder) are both scheduled to face live hitters in a simulated game on Tuesday. Severino could see his first game action on a rehab assignment after Tuesday, but given how little time there is left in the regular season, it's more likely that he returns in a relief role down the stretch, which would severely limit his fantasy value. Betances should need less time for a return, but the Yankees want him throwing in the high-90s before they bring him back. Betances can help your strikeout numbers in deeper leagues, but once again, time is running out for him to make an impact.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
