Luis Robert To Hit Down In Lineup
4 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert, who was the runner-up for the American League Rookie of the Year Award in 2020, is expected to hit lower in the lineup when the 2021 season begins, with manager Tony La Russa wanting Robert to earn his way up to the top of the order. Frank Thomas described Robert as a six-tool player, and La Russa said that the 23-year-old has "Mike Trout-type talents," so the sky is the limit for him. Before struggling in September, Robert was hitting .298 with a .960 OPS, 10 home runs and 24 RBI. If he can reduce his strikeouts -- he struck out 32.2 percent of the time -- Robert could be a top-five fantasy outfielder because of his high-end power/speed combination. His current 35 ADP shows just the kind of upside he possesses, and he's in a great lineup to rack up the runs and RBI.
