Lucas Giolito Could Return On Sunday

Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Lucas Giolito (abdomen) is slated to throw a simulated game on Tuesday. According to White Sox manager Tony La Russa, if Giolito makes it through the simulated game okay, he could return to the mound for the White Sox "as soon as five days from now." That means Giolito could be on the mound for the White Sox on Sunday against the Minnesota Twins. The 27-year-old suffered an abdominal strain during his first start of the year and was placed on the injured list shortly after. Once he's back, Jimmy Lambert will be bumped out of the rotation.
