6 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Logan Morrison (hip) has been placed on the disabled list on Thursday. The veteran suffered a left hip impingement during Wednesday's game against the Kansas City Royals. In a corresponding move, shortstop Ehire Adrianza (hamstring) has been activated from the disabled list. Morrison's absence leaves a hole at the designated hitter spot, so the Twins will have to share the load. With Jorge Polanco back in the lineup, he and Adrianza can serve as DH options while sharing shortstop duties. Before landing on the shelf, Morrison was having a forgettable season, hitting just .193. He can be dropped if previously owned in most formats.--Mauricio Castillo
