Logan Couture Does Not Want To Be Moved

San Jose Sharks center Logan Couture has made it clear he does not want to be traded ahead of the March 8 NHL trade deadline despite speculation the Sharks captain could be dealt. Couture is currently dealing with a groin injury that has limited him to just six games while he has tallied just one assist and seven shots in goal in that time. "This organization means a lot to me, so I couldn't see myself playing for another team, but right now I'm just trying to get back to playing hockey again," the veteran said. Couture is in the fifth season of an eight-year deal that carries an $8 million cap hit, making a trade even more difficult. The Sharks are sure-fire deadline sellers as they are tied for last in the NHL alongside the Chicago Blackhawks with 35 points.
