Lions Defense Has Solid Day Against Washington
2 years agoThe Detroit Lions defense sacked Commanders quarterback Carson Wentz five times and intercepted him once in the 36-27 win against the Washington Commanders. It gave up almost 400 yards of offense, but the sacks and forced turnover were enough to produce a solid day for a fantasy D/ST. However, it's still tough to think the Lions' defense will be one to trust in fantasy. It will be a bottom-of-the-barrel option against Minnesota in Week 3. That said, if Aidan Hutchinson becomes a dominant force after his three-sack day, the Lions' defense could have some appeal moving forward.
