Lions Defense Could Be Challenged Against Cowboys
6 years agoThe Detroit Lions defense had without a doubt their best performance in Week 3 when they held the Patriots to just 10 points and 209 yards of offense. While that was an impressive performance, they now have to travel to Dallas to face Ezekiel Elliott and the Cowboys. Dallas' offense is nowhere near as potent as the Patriots, but their offense will most likely try to maintain long drives to keep Detroit's defense on the field, and their offense on the sideline. It doesn't help that defensive end Ziggy Ansah (shoulder) will miss his third straight game and linebacker Jarrad Davis (knee) is questionable. This is expected to be a low-scoring game so there are worse options than the Lions, but proceed with caution if considering them for your starting lineup.
