4 years agoNewly-added Detroit Lions running back Adrian Peterson could see a sizable workload in Week 1 against the Chicago Bears. Fellow running backs D'Andre Swift (leg) and Kerryon Johnson (knee) have been limited in practice and the team might be cautious with them to start the year. Peterson told the Detroit Free Press this week, “They’re asking me to do a lot,” in regards to his role in the offense. We could see double-digit touches for Peterson to open the year.
