Liam Hendriks Unsure About Return Date
1 year agoAccording to Scott Merkin of MLB.com, Chicago White Sox reliever Liam Hendriks (elbow) told reporters on Tuesday that "there's no end date" to his recovery from the elbow inflammation that he suffered during his last outing on June 9 and eventually forced him to the 15-day injured list on June 11. Hendriks already missed the first two months of the season, and over five innings, he owns an ugly 5.40 ERA and 1.00 WHIP with three strikeouts and one walk. It sounds like the club is taking their time with the Australian native, so fantasy managers will once again need to be patient and continue to stash him, as he'll likely take back the closer role when he does return. Until then, expect Kendall Graveman to keep getting most of the save chances.
