Miami Marlins outfielder Lewis Brinson (thumb) has a chance at playing during Tuesday's doubleheader against the New York Mets, according to manager Don Mattingly. He has been sidelined since last Thursday due to a left thumb injury. Before going down, Brinson was in the middle of a 2-for-34 at the plate. The once prized-prospect has not been able to put it together at the plate. He isn't worth stashing in fantasy leagues and can be left on the waiver wire.--Andy Webb
