Le'Veon Bell Undergoes MRI On Knee
5 years agoNew York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell (knee) underwent an MRI exam on his knee on Monday. The results are unknown, but this might help explain why Bell continued to be a disappointment on increased touches in the juicy Week 9 matchup against the Dolphins. Quarterback Sam Darnold's struggles with illness and poor play this year haven't helped Bell's cause at all, but he also might be injured on top of it after sitting out for all of the 2018 season. The Jets have another great matchup on paper against the Giants in Week 10, but Bell's status is now in question. He'll be an RB2 if he's able to play. Ty Montgomery would see a big increase in workload if Bell is forced to sit out.
