LeSean McCoy Wants To Play For A Contender
5 years agoFree-agent running back LeSean McCoy said that, "I want to go to a team that's a winning franchise." McCoy didn't factor into KC's offense in their postseason run on the way to a Super Bowl championship, but the veteran back did run the ball 101 times for 465 yards (4.6 yards per carry) and four touchdowns in 13 games (nine starts) during the regular season, adding 28 receptions for 181 yards and another score. Shady is a six-time Pro Bowler and two-time first-team All-Pro. He made the Pro Bowl five straight years from 2013 to 2017 with the Eagles and Bills, but he has little tread left on the tires and surely won't be a featured back wherever he lands on the open market. McCoy will likely be running back depth in his next destination and is unlikely to be very attractive in fantasy football, depending on the landing spot.
