LeSean McCoy Could See Himself Returning To Eagles
5 years agoFree-agent running back LeSean McCoy will be playing his 12th and likely final season in 2020, but he is currently without a team. McCoy has played for the Eagles, Bills and Chiefs and racked up over 11,000 rushing yards, six Pro Bowl appearances, two All-Pro selections and a Lombardi Trophy. He has openly said he wants to play for a contender in 2020, and the Eagles would seem like a good fit. On their side, the Eagles have been looking for a veteran running back and have been linked to Carlos Hyde. McCoy would be a similar fit, and if there's interest on both sides, things could get done quickly. Miles Sanders would still lead the backfield, but McCoy's presence would likely be welcomed in the running back room. He wouldn't have much standalone fantasy value, but he could be interesting in deeper PPR formats.
