LeSean McCoy Confident He'll Play In Week 1
6 years agoBuffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy said he is "very confident" that he'll play in the regular season opener and that the team is backing him "110 percent" over allegations that he set up a home invasion of his ex-girlfriend Delicia Cordon in which she was beaten and robbed of jewelry. Cordon said in a statement Friday that she continues to fight for "justice to be served." Cordon believes that McCoy might have "set her up" for the attack because he had previously asked for the jewelry back. Police have not named any suspects, and Bills owner Kim Pegula said she was "surprised we really haven't heard anything more from (investigators)" about the case. The NFL continues to investigate the matter, but as of now it looks like McCoy might be fine. That doesn't mean he's not a risk as an RB1 in fantasy football drafts.
