Leonard Fournette Could Sit Out Through Bye Week
6 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars are considering sitting running back Leonard Fournette (hamstring) out through their Week 9 bye. Fournette was already ruled out for Week 6 against the Cowboys on Wednesday, and there is concern for him re-injuring his right hamstring. He hurt his leg initially in Week 1 and aggravated it in the second half against the Jets two weeks ago. A source describes it as "having knowledge of the Jaguars thinking" that they may hold him out the next two weeks, one of which is a trip to London in Week 8. Fournette has quickly turned into a first-round bust for fantasy owners. We really hope you handcuffed him with T.J. Yeldon, who will be a high-end RB2 and workhorse in the backfield for however long Fournette remains sidelined.
